The incumbent is responsible for delivering of Group Statutory & Management Reporting information following Accounting Standards and Governance Controls for Month End
- Half Year, Fast Close and Year End financial reporting while identifying Operational Efficiencies in key areas to achieve Business-as-usual results.

**SENIORITY LEVEL**:Experienced** **Non-Management

**SALARY RANGE**:Starting from RM5,400 + Excellent Benefits + Annual Bonus
**LOCATION**:Sunway Geo Tower, Bandar Sunway

**ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES**

**Reports to**: Assistant Manager Corporate Finance

**Reporting Level**:Individual Contributor

**Geographic Scope**:Asia Pacific Middle East, Africa

**WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR**
- Support in Group and Local reporting activities. Produce reliable and accurate financial statements reconciled based on IFRS and local accounting system, by ensuring the reported data are in line with local and group requirements and accounting standards.
- Ensure month end close activities, statutory and management financial reporting (actuals) are performed on time.
- Provide support, statutory, management and transactional activities to end market for business operations.
- Performs monthly analytical reviews and prepares significant commentaries to explain results.
- Investigating and responding to ad-hoc queries/reporting relating to financial performance and analysis requests.
- Coordinate the delivery of annual external statutory audit exercise and ensure alignment and delivery of control navigator and internal controls related exercises.
- Understand the functionality, interfaces, and interdependencies of the financial processes and systems; ensure the existence of adequate internal controls.
- Drive in implementing internal controls to ensure accurate financial reporting.

**ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE**
- ** At least a Bachelor Degree or equivalent experience in Accounting/Finance or similar qualifications (e.g. ACCA / CPA)**:

- ** Equipped with 2 years of experience in a global FMCG or similar dynamic operating environment**:

- **Good understanding of Audit/Month End Closing/AP/GL/Financial Planning/Actual and Forecast/Controls/Double Entry/Standard exposure**:

- ** Understand the impact of the accounting process and practice (IFRS and group reporting guidelines). Good knowledge of Management Accounting techniques about Profit and Loss Statement and Balance Sheet**:

- Understand the platforms and analyse reports, identify issues and challenges within reports functionalities and data; understand and knowledge of relevant finance tools and systems, specifically BI/BPC, SAP or ERP equivalent
- Detail-oriented, analytical, proactive, and can work under pressure with minimum supervision; Knowledgeable in identifying risks and in implementing controls
