**Project** Description**:
One of the global banks is expanding its presence in APAC.
As a part of expansion, client is looking to hire Solution Architect, who will play a key role in expansion.

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead the design for new solutions requested by the regional CIO / head of architect
- Provides consultancy and advisory services to the business, systems development and technology production services for system integration, product evaluation, projects
- Acts as a "Relationship Manager" to the Tech Delivery line for all Solution Design requests.
- Delivers high quality engineering solutions for the bank across all platform requirements.
- Value - add to various technology streams by timely and proper engagement and recommending appropriate solutions.
- Platform and system capacity & performance related risks are identified, communicated, escalated and acted upon.
- Effectively understand the way how we consume on-prem infrastructure and at the same time explore every avenue to migrate to cloud.
- Strong experience in providing solution using virtual environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills to articulate Infra Solution Design to various forums as required.
- Strong hands-on experience to promote the idea of Design and Build instead of the traditional approach of just Design as the primary scope for Architect.
- Interact with tech delivery line to understand the various software requirements and ensure alignment with tech standards.
- Build a methodology for Right Sizing and ensure infrastructure is not over/under provisioned while we have the most resilient system set up possible.
- Thorough understanding to deep dive into a system to analyse performance and to understand the performance bottlenecks

- Required - Experience in Quotation of Solutions, differentiating CAPEX and OPEX concepts and evaluating different

options to find the most cost effective solution.

- Delivers by possessing productivity, professionalism, customer service attitude, attention to detail and quality; ability to multitask; strong interpersonal skills, strong verbal and written communication skills and adherence to standard operating procedures.
- Demonstrates ability to adapt to a rapidly changing environment and ability to take direction from multiple areas.
- Comfortable in an agile and fastmoving environment.
- Developing Self & Others through Coaching, Contributing to Team, continuously learning and sharing knowledge.
- Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters. e.g. Core Banking Refresh programme, ISO programs
