_**Role Responsibilities**:_
- Oversee purchasing activities, including sourcing and ordering raw materials and trading products to support production and sales.
- Guide and supervise the Purchasing team to ensure effective execution of procurement plans.
- Request quotations, negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules to maintain competitive purchasing costs.
- Manage shipping and logistics for imported raw materials and coordinate with forwarding agents to meet customs and SST requirements.
- Monitor stock levels to ensure sufficient supply and avoid production downtime; ensure timely delivery of materials.
- Maintain strong communication with suppliers to improve delivery, pricing, and material quality.
- Ensure all purchased materials meet required specifications, including safety and compliance standards (e.g., RoHS)
- Evaluate new and existing suppliers using internal vendor rating systems
- Support environmental, health, and safety requirements and participate in related audits, training, and activities.
- Manage purchase orders, supplier master data, and material master data.
- Handle filing of business correspondences and purchase orders.
- Liaise with Customs and MIDA authorities.
- **Role Requirements**:_
- Degree in Manufacturing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of procurement management experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and reporting.
- Knowledge of SIRIM audits and importation processes is an advantage
- Able to work independently as well as in a team.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM12,000.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
