- Master production schedule: Plan, prepare, maintain, and report on performance of the master schedule. Responsible for demand/sales forecasts in the ERP or MRP system for use in the planning process.
- Capacity requirements plan: Create and maintain a valid capacity requirements plan that supports the master schedule.
- Inventory: Establish and adjust safety stock levels for finished goods. Prepare run out analyses for discontinued items and coordinate an exit strategy with material planners and purchasing.
- Scheduling processes: Establish evaluation and maintain production scheduling processes and formal master schedule review and signoff process.
- Reporting: Development, maintenance and communication of key performance indicators that are consistent with executive strategies and plant-level performance measures. Analyze data to identify causes of variances.
- Customer experience: Work directly with customers on order management. Manage the order backlog to ensure acceptable customer service levels
- Bachelor's Degree with 7+ years' hands-on experience within Production Control, Demand management and Inventory Management.
- Extensive ERP/MRP experience required, SAP experience strongly preferred.
- Superior oral and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects across various functional areas within an organization
- Ability to prove as a cross-functional leader in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
