As a HSE Manager, you will assist to manage and supervise HSE activities on an exciting project.

**Job Role/Responsibilities**:

- Support in defining, implementing, monitoring and continually improving the Occupational Health, Safety and Environment
- Support to establish company HSE procedures based on regulatory and company’s requirements.
- Assist to ensure all business activities are operated safely to meet company’s standards, local and government regulations
- Assist to lead accident / incident investigations and facilitate in accident and incident root cause analysis
- Support in organising and conducting company HSE Meetings
- Coordinate Emergency Preparedness and Response Plan (EPRP) drills and the maintenance of emergency response equipment.
- Assist to ensure that risk assessments are performed and reviewed as required, with appropriate methodologies and tools
- Assist to conduct safety audits, site inspections and implement improvement measures
- Assist to ensure that data and information related to the processes performance are collected, analysed, evaluated, and reviewed during management review meetings.

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Occupational Safety & Health or equivalent
- Minimum 10 years safety experience with at least 5 years of experience as HSE Manager and in an O&G / Chemical industry
- Registered Safety and Health Officer
- Good knowledge and hands-on experience in HSE Management
- Experience leading culture change and developing/ implementing management systems
- Ability to understand and interpret complex mandatory regulations and their impact on company’s operations
- Strong interpersonal skills; ability to interact with different groups with diverse needs and requirements; ability to motivate and manage the performance of others
- A natural leadership, well-structured and organised with good coordination skills
- Good communication skills with proficiency in English

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 14 months

**Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM12,000.00 per month
