This Position reports to:
Business Manager - Commercial&Operations

**Your role and responsibilities**

The work model for the role is: #LI-onsite, #LI-hybrid

This role is contributing to the Robotics and Discrete Automation Business based at Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

You will be mainly accountable for:

- Reporting HSE incidents to the management and relevant stakeholders and taking appropriate actions.
- Facilitating, assisting, and providing guidance on incident investigations to learn better ways for mitigating risks.
- Providing feedback to the management and employees on lessons learned and best practices from within their own unit and across ABB.
- Supporting and driving behavioral change through the local implementation of group-wide and business-specific performance improvement programs and practices.

**Qualifications for the role**
- A degree or diploma in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
- Certification in NEBOSH International General Certificate in OHS/OSHA or an equivalent recognized qualification. Valid Local HSE Certification in accordance with Malaysia legislation.
- Minimum of 5 years of total industry experience, with a least 2-3 years in a dedicated HSE professional role.
- Certified Lead or Internal Auditor in HSE, preferably aligned with ISO 45001 or ISO 14001 standards.
- Proven experience in delivering Health, Safety, and Environmental training across various levels. Strong leadership, interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to work assertively and pragmatically while supporting business objectives.
