APAC Regional Occupational Leader
**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**:
- Provide specialist occupational medicine, public and environmental health advice to Asia Pacific region, ensuring input into local operating management systems in support of health teams at local level
- Lead and champion the design, development, and regional execution of the next generation of enterprise health strategy that meet the future needs of employees, customers, consumers and other key stakeholders.
- Partner with site, country and regional leadership teams to build Occupational health capability that secures full compliance to all regulatory requirements, while also delivering enhanced culture of caring through the Occupational health teams leadership of employee health and wellness initiatives.
- Analyze, assess, and recommend structural (people, capability, talent) needs to meet regional and global goals. Engage and partner with site, country, and regional leadership to align and realize required organizational structures, that deliver on Occupational Health objectives, while also driving short and long-term value into the business.
- Partner with business/brands/innovation teams to identify, develop, launch strategic health initiatives that drive enhanced culture of caring while, also delivering measurable value creation.
- Establish priorities, seek business alignment and partner with business unit teams. Leverage relationships and influence appropriate corporate, functional, and business leadership including Regional Health and Safety Business Partners, HR leadership and HR business partners for effective execution.
- Provide expert Occupational Health analysis, evaluation, advice and direction on all relevant projects/issues/business opportunities. This includes identifying potential business opportunities, anticipating risks, and recommending solutions. Focus areas will include:
- Exploration of business development opportunities designed to expand K-C’s Health competencies to competitive advantage and business growth
- Building an Occupational health mindset and capabilities within K-C’s EHS and operations teams and processes
- Identify regional Occupational Health team capability needs and recommend development opportunities to further support strategy and goals.
- Continuously improve systems, processes and capabilities regarding Occupational Health for the A-PAC regional and Global Occupational Health Team. This includes building out robust measurement of performance across Occupational health programs, that are then used to inform and calibrate against strategic direction year on year.
- Visibly and credibly demonstrate a corporate commitment to Global Occupational Health Services through enterprise, business unit and facility programs.
- Strive for excellence in all formal and informal communications. Work towards clear, cogent, practical, and action-oriented written and oral communications that focus on the problem, recommend solutions and take into consideration the audience being addressed.
- Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results.
- Provide influential leadership to the Global Occupational health Leadership Team, and Global EHS&S function.
**Scope and Dimensions**:
- The incumbent reports to the Senior Director of Occupational Health & Safety but has a strong dotted line into the the A-PAC regional Supply Chain VP. The position has primarily regional A-PAC responsibility to service over 40 operating facilities located in 17 countries with $X billion in annual global sales.
- Operating Budget: $1.5 - 2.0 Million
- Corporate Foundation - Influence to direct up to $10 million
- Personnel: This Role will be expected to identify and create cluster level Occupational health Leadership roles, which may then have direct reporting lines to the regional leader. In turn, site/country level Occ Health resources would then have line reporting into these cluster leaders, but will be provided significant work direction from their site/country leadership teams.

**Qualifications/Education/Experience Required**:
- Post-graduate degree in a Health Service (OH MD qualification preferred), EHS, Science, field, or an MBA.
