**Job Title**:
Lead Chargeman BO 33KV

**Reports To**:
Senior Manager, Facilities Management

**Role Purpose**:
As required by regulatory, Suruhanjaya Tenaga for electrical equipment for high and low voltage. The objective is to operate or have control over any work or operation of an electrical installation according to the voltage restrictions and category of the certificate of competence.

**Key Accountability**:

- Managing and maintaining the electrical machineries and equipment as required by Suruhanjaya Tenaga under Electrical Supply Act Electricity regulation.
- Ensure the electrical system are maintained efficiently and fit for daily operational.
- Carry out all duties of BO Chargeman as specified under Electrical Act and Regulations (Suruhanjaya Tenaga) i.e. shutdown, calibration, switching, maintenance and upkeep of HT, LT, switchgears, gensets and etc.
- Liaise with utilities providers such as MAHB, TNB and other regulatory bodies on utilities services and compliance issues.
- Conduct and provide monitoring, checking, tracking on major facilities electrical, machineries and equipment for power consumption, licenses on regulatory matters, Breakdown maintenance, Plan Preventive Maintenance on machineries and equipment’s to prevent and minimize breakdown and power failure.
- Troubleshoot and attend to power, machineries and equipment failure, shortage, trip issue and provide technical advisory on rectification.
- Responsible to manage power supply and energy saving advisory for the organisation
- Ensure building electrical is maintained effectively and comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga requirement.
- Provide technical advisory on electrical related on new development, relocation.
- Act as Building Manager; manage and supervise general maintenance and upkeep assigned building and managing 3rd party vendors on electrical related for facilities maintenance service.

**Qualification & Experience**:

- Degree in any related field or Professional Certificate BO 33kv certificate with Suruhanjaya Tenaga
- BO 33kv certificate with Suruhanjaya Tenaga
- Minimum 5 years working experience in as chargeman in facilities management for complex building is required for this position

**Areas of Experience**:

- Knowledge in Electrical Supply Act, Electricity regulations is essential.
- Experience in managing large complex building
- Major in facilities management for commercial building
