Role Overview:
As a Fashion Designer (Intermediate Level), you'll play a pivotal role in translating seasonal concepts into commercially successful designs. You'll be expected to understand market trends, translate them into unique designs aligned with our brand DNA, and work closely with our production and marketing teams to bring each collection to life.

This role is ideal for someone with a few years of hands-on design experience, looking to grow into a senior creative position in the near future.

**Responsibilities**:
Design & Creative Development
- Create original clothing designs for each collection, in line with seasonal themes and brand identity.
- Develop mood boards, fabric selections, trims, and color palettes.
- Conduct trend and market research to ensure collections remain fresh, relevant, and commercially viable.
- Produce clear technical sketches, flats, and digital illustrations for internal and external use.
- Collaborate in product development meetings and ideation sessions.

Product Development
- Work with the production team to develop prototypes and samples.
- Participate in fittings, making necessary corrections and ensuring high-quality garment construction.
- Review and approve final samples before bulk production.
- Liaise with fabric suppliers and manufacturers to source materials and ensure timely deliveries.

Team Collaboration
- Work alongside graphic designers, pattern makers, tailors, and merchandisers to align design direction.
- Support photoshoots and marketing campaigns by styling or providing creative input.
- Provide constructive feedback to junior designers or interns when needed.

Administrative & Brand Support
- Maintain an organized archive of designs, samples, and tech packs.
- Ensure designs adhere to production timelines, budgets, and retail price points.
- Occasionally represent the brand at fashion shows, trade events, or press previews.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Fashion Design or related field.
- 3-4 years of industry experience as a fashion designer or similar role (preferably in casualwear/menswear/womenswear)
- Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and other design tools.
- Strong sketching and digital rendering skills.
- Understanding of fabric types, draping, and finishing techniques.
- Able to take feedback positively and adapt design direction as needed.
- Excellent time management and ability to meet multiple deadlines.
- A well-presented portfolio demonstrating creativity and commercial understanding.
- Knowledge of têxtiles, garment construction, and production processes.
- Strong communication and team collaboration skills.
- Self-motivated with excellent time management and multitasking abilities.

Nice to Have:

- Familiarity with sustainable materials and eco-conscious design practices.
- Previous experience in retail or ecommerce fashion brands.

Pay: RM2,800.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
