Job Responsibilities:

- Lead and oversee the cost accounting function, ensuring accurate allocation of costs across departments and products. Maintain cost systems and provide timely cost reports.
- Analyze cost trends, identify variances, and provide actionable insights to management. Work with operational teams to optimize cost efficiency and reduce waste.
- Prepare and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans, ensuring alignment with organizational goals. Conduct regular reviews to assess performance against budget.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure proper cost accounting procedures are followed. Coordinate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure accurate valuation of inventory.
- Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual cost reports, highlighting key financial trends and insights. Provide financial analysis to support decision-making processes.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, accounting standards, and regulations. Support internal and external audits as needed, ensuring accuracy and completeness of cost-related records.
- Continuously evaluate and improve cost accounting processes and systems to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and productivity.
- Work closely with other departments (e.g., operations, procurement, sales) to gather necessary data for cost reporting and analysis. Provide financial expertise to support business decisions and strategies.
- Lead and mentor junior accounting staff, providing training and support in cost accounting principles and best practices.

Job Requirements:

- **Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field** (Master’s degree preferred).
- **Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance, with at least 3 years in cost accounting or a related role.**:

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting principles, financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in **financial software (ERP systems, Excel, and other accounting tools).**:

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong leadership abilities and experience managing teams.

**Job Type**: Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
