Job Description:

- Assist in preparing preliminary cost estimates and budgets for construction projects.
- Perform quantity take-offs from technical drawings and specifications.
- Assist in preparing tender documents, bulls of quantities (BOQ), and other pricing schedules.
- Analyse and compare subcontractor and supplier quotes.
- Support the senior quantity surveyor in monitoring and tracking project costs against budgets.
- Assist in preparing interim valuations and final accounts.
- Conduct site visits to assess progress and collect data for cost control.
- Maintain accurate project records, including material logs and payment certificates.
- Prepare periodic cost reports for review by senior.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of construction processes and materials.
- Familiarity with quantity take-off software (e.g., AutoCAD) is an advantage.
- Strong mathematical and measurement skills.
- Ability to analyse and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy in cost estimates and project documentation.
- Proactive and willing to learn new approaches to problem-solving.
- Internship experience in construction or cost estimation is a plus but not mandatory.
- Enthusiastic and eager to learn.
- Team-oriented with a willingness to adapt to project requirements.

Special Requirements:

- Flexibility to work extended hours, weekends, and holidays if necessary.
- Willingness to travel to different job sites as required.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift
