Our Client a leading bank in Asia with a global network of more than 500 branches and offices in 19 countries and territories in Asia Pacific, Europe and North America are looking for Consultants to be part of the project

The Technology and Operations function is comprised of five teams of specialists with distinct capabilities: business partnership, technology, operations, risk governance and planning support and services. They work closely together to harness the power of technology to support our physical and digital banking services and operations. This includes developing, centralising and standardising technology systems as well as banking operations in Malaysia and overseas branches.

The client has more than 80 years of history in the banking industry and is expanding its footprint in Malaysia.
The selected resource will be working in a newly setup technology centre located in Kuala Lumpur as part of Technology and Operations to deliver innovative financial technology solutions that enable business growth and technology transformation.

**Responsibilities**:

- Design, develop, and implement ETL solutions using Informatica PowerCenter and Teradata/Hadoop.
- Perform data mapping, modeling, profiling, and build data marts aligned with business requirements.
- Work on data integration, cleansing, transformation, and validation across heterogeneous data sources.
- Develop and optimize SQL queries, stored procedures, and views in Oracle/Teradata environments.
- Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand and translate functional requirements into technical designs.
- Participate in data warehouse performance tuning, capacity planning, and load optimization.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy in data lake and warehouse environments.
- Work on automation, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices (JIRA, Jenkins, Bitbucket, QuerySurge).
- Support production issues and perform root cause analysis for data integration failures.
- Maintain documentation for ETL processes, data flows, and technical designs.

**Skills**:
Must have
- 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience in ETL Development using Informatica.
- Certifications (at least two of the following areas):

- Database: Teradata DB or Hadoop Hive (mandatory certification in any one) with Oracle backend knowledge-
- Data Warehousing: Teradata (FSLDM/FSD, GCFR, TD Studio, IFX, MDM, ViewPoint, TASM)-
- ETL: Informatica or SAS (certified in any one)-
- Big Data / Data Science: HDFS/Hive/HUE/Scala or AI/ML (certified developer)-
- Data Analytics: SAS / Qlik Sense / Power BI / Splunk / R Studio / Python (certified in any one)-
- CI/CD & DevOps Tools: JIRA, Jenkins, Bitbucket, QuerySurge-
- Red Hat OpenShift: Container management and Kubernetes experience (applies for CPM roles)- Development Experience: Minimum 3 years in data mapping, modeling, and data marts
- Platforms: Informatica, Teradata, Hadoop, Oracle
- Programming/Query Languages: SQL, Unix scripting
- Databases: Teradata, Oracle, Hadoop
- Operating Systems: Linux, Unix, Windows, AIX
- Strong understanding of data modeling concepts in banking environments and exposure to data lakes
- Proficiency in ETL design, development, and performance tuning
