The Mastercard Launch program is aimed at early career talent, to help you develop skills and gain cross-functional work experience. Over a period of 18 months, Launch participants will be assigned to a business unit, learn and develop skills, and gain valuable on the job experience.

The Role
In a customer-facing environment, lead implementation projects of a technical and non-technical nature. Deliver standard implementation activities ensuring quality and reliability of the implementations.

Major Accountabilities
- Provide end-to-end project execution throughout basic payment technology implementation projects.
- Drive basic customer payment solutions implementation projects following the global project coordination methodology.
- Guide customers through applicable Mastercard processing rules, specification and documentation.
- Identify appropriate project implementation support documentation (contracts, agreements, forms etc...) to be provided by customers,
- Handle multiple basic customer implementation projects in parallel.
- Engage in creation of internal automation/process simplification projects.

Knowledge / Experience
- General knowledge in payment transaction processing and industry business principles.
- General understanding of Mastercard's payment processing systems, formats and associated customer host interface testing services and principles.
- General understanding of the 4-party model and the full transaction lifecycle for Mastercard brands

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree, majoring in Information Technology, Engineering or Business, with a target graduation date between July 2024 and July 2025.
- Proven record of leadership in a work setting and/or through extracurricular activities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and project management skills, technical understanding of REST API/Webservice (SOAP) or other technologies in the payment space.
- Ability to interact well with the customers, manage change in a technical work environment, and work as part of a cross functional team
- Strong verbal and communication skills in English, and Chinese Mandarin. Ability to speak, read and write in Mandarin is a plus.
- You do not require work visa sponsorship now nor in the future to work in Malaysia. Outstanding record of academic achievement.
