Job Description:

- To Vouch - Inventory records and physical inventory of Perfumes and Cosmetics at the counters and storerooms in the boutiques and outlets. Highlight cases of overstocking in the stores, i.e. more than 3 months inventory holding to the key account holders for their necessary action.
- To Audit
- Inventory of assigned counters as scheduled by the Inventory team and key account holders.
- To Check
- Inventory documents and the movements of inventory as per directions by your supervisor
- To Prevent and Detect - pilferages, shortages, irregularities or loss of inventory and conduct preliminary checks to identify culprits for follow up disciplinary/legal action based on your audit checks
- To Update
- the inventory records in hard and soft files and handover for the next audit. As and when required update the POS system to reflect the latest retail sales prices, Item SKU’s. Extract relevant report from POS system as directed by your supervisor.
- To Maintain
- log records of activities related to Inventory and conduct of audit checks. All physical records of audit/checking are to be confirmed and signed by the Counter attendant (Prestige FC’s) and Key account managers. Maintain electronic data on the stock checks in system as back up.
- To Adopt - Strict confidentiality of Audit checks and findings and reporting to Supervisor for further action as appropriate.
- To Maintain
- healthy rapport with all FC’s without compromising adherence to integrity of audit checks and appropriate action.
- To Attend - training sessions for your upgrading of skills. You will also provide training and guidance to FCs on proper maintaining of inventory items, Bin-cards, documentations, and prevention of loss of Prestige goods.
- To Reconcile - the monthly Stock with the Financial accounts and POS system together with Finance/Accounts Team.
- To Follow
- Strictly the policies and instructions of senior management
- To Report
- Promptly to the management of any discrepancies and misconduct of staff, contractors, suppliers, etc
- To Recommend
- improvements to efficiency, management of inventory checks and control mechanisms to minimise carrying of ageing stocks arising from slow-moving or discontinued items.
- To Suggest - innovative ways to commend FCs who display dedication in managing inventories in their care
- To Obtain - prior approval of each departmental store operator for auditing the counter by sending your ID cards and company letter to the requesting authority.
- When FC resigns —be alert and take prompt action to coordinate with KAM and assigned replacement FC for checking of stocks under his/her care for reconciliation with physical records. Where the discrepancy cannot be reconciled, to alert Finance to hold back any payments for contra purposes
- To Follow the predesigned format and forms for Audit check and report in uniform way.
- To Attend departmental meetings as informed by the manager and follow the instructions as advised by management.

To Adopt the process of reporting variances and forward to KAM for their follow up with management/accounts/Prestige Lawyer and Police where necessary

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
