**Job Descriptions**:
- Responsible for timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing and preparation of monthly accounts & financial reports in a timely and accurate manner and in accordance with statutory requirements.
- Responsible for the full spectrum of accounting and financing functions of the assigned entity.
- Coordinate and liaise with external parties where required.
- Preparation of the Management accounts, data recording, and month reporting are a basic requirement.
- Responsible for project implementations and system upgrades to comply with new operational or legal requirements.
- Take charge for tax planning and to ensure a timely and effective level of tax compliance in accordance with relevant legislation. Handle tax matters, which would include the timely SST filing as well as corporate tax.
- Assist in enhancement of the financial and management reporting system, internal control, policies and procedures.
- Take charge in some administration and handle some staff matters.
- Other tasks assigned by direct supervisor.
**Job Requirements**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a professional qualification.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
- Full set accounts and finance operation experience is required, independently with mínimal supervision.
- Essential to be Bilingual in English with Mandarin (including reading and writing), as required for handling other Mandarin stakeholders.
- Require travelling between Malacca BU and KL office on a timely basis.
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments and meet tight deadlines.
- High level of integrity and commitment to maintaining confidentiality, meticulous, team player, quick to adapt and able to multitask.
- Possess knowledge and be well versed in MS Office. Well versed with SQL.
- Experience in the manufacturing environment.
- Experience in systems migration exercises is an added advantage.
