Are you passionate about delivering **exceptional customer service** in the logistics industry? Our client is looking for an **Ocean Customer Service Specialist** to manage customer inquiries, ensure smooth operations, and support end-to-end freight forwarding services.

**Job Overview**:

- Act as the first point of contact for customer inquiries.
- Troubleshoot operational issues and escalate customer complaints when necessary.
- Process customer instructions **accurately and on time**, including warranting and warehouse receipts.
- Prepare and follow up on **Work Order Instructions** to ensure seamless execution.
- Handle **claims and disputes**, escalating to appropriate managers as required.
- Assist with **reporting tasks** and keep customers updated on work order progress.
- Ensure compliance with **regulatory requirements** for warranting, working closely with Operations and Exchange Compliance Manager.
- Maintain and update the **logistics system**, providing regular inventory reports to customers and banks.
- Ensure **accuracy of reports** before sharing with external parties.
- Process **timely and accurate billing**, including job costing in ERP systems.
- Engage with customers to ensure **timely payments** and minimize overdue invoices.
- Clarify invoices and inform customers of additional charges to ensure **smooth payment processing**.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records, updating job information as needed.
- Support **ad-hoc assignments** as required.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Experience in **customer service, logistics, or freight forwarding** is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills.
- Proficiency in **ERP systems and reporting tools** is an advantage.
