**Responsibilities**
- Maintain and coordinate Laboratory Quality Assurance System per ISO 17025 standards.
- Supervise Laboratory Staff.
- Act as primary communication liaison between Laboratory and other departments.
- Assist in performance appraisals and Collective Agreement administration.
- Plan and manage Laboratory personnel leave schedules.
- Design and implement training programs for technicians.
- Conduct and analyze special Laboratory studies, preparing reports.
- Assist in Laboratory operating budget planning.
- Recommend procedures, technology, and equipment enhancements.
- Foster relationships within Oil & Gas Industries.
- Provide input on effluent water quality.
- Investigate pollution issues, proposing mitigation strategies.
- Coordinate and monitor Laboratory KPIs.

**Requirements**:

- _ Must be a registered with Malaysian Institute of Chemistry (IKM) or equivalent._
- Possesses a bachelor’s degree in chemistry of higher.
- At least 1 year experience in a petroleum and chemical analytical laboratory.
- Ability to lead a team and administer policies.
- Must have keen analytical & communicative capabilities with actual exposure to supervisory experience.
- Possesses working knowledge of product blending calculations and methods.
- Basic knowledge of petroleum refining and related economics
