Vysus Group is a leading engineering and technical consultancy offering specialist asset performance, risk management and project management expertise across complex industrial assets, energy assets (oil and gas, nuclear, renewables) and the energy transition.

We are looking for a Principal Consultant to join our Risk Management Consulting team located in Kuala Lumpur.

In the role of Principal Consultant, you will:

- Prepare proposals, submissions, and tenders.
- Develop and maintain relationships with new or existing clients.
- Monitor and manage safety studies.
- Compile comprehensive, well written client reports.
- Facilitate qualitative risk analysis workshops (for example, HAZID).
- Carry out consequence modelling (PHAST / SAFETI etc).
- Conduct fire safety analyses.
- Carry out quantitative risk analysis (QRA).
- Develop on and/or offshore safety cases.

Experience in the following areas would also be an advantage:

- Facilitating HAZOP workshops.
- SIL studies (determination, verification, FSAs, etc).

To be successful in the role of Principal Consultant we are looking for you to have the following:

- A degree or a higher-level qualification in engineering, maths, or science.
- 20 years + experience.
- Demonstrable experience in the field of risk management consultancy and technical safety (onshore and/or offshore), including management of project deliverables, budgets, and client relationships.
- Significant relevant industry experience.
- Strong spoken and written English language skills.
- Strong Excel skills.
