*Building Surveyor*

**Responsibilities**:
Help set up and operate laser scanning equipment for building surveys. (FARO & NAVVIS)

Collect accurate and detailed 3D data through laser scanning technology

Participate in data quality control procedures to ensure accurate and acceptable scans.

Assist in the generation of 2D and 3D models from the collected scan data.

Assist in preparing reports by taking comprehensive photos and building data.

Assist in coordinating project timelines, delivery, and client communications.

Collaborate with other team members to integrate laser scan data into scanning design and workflow.

Conduct physical site surveys

Coordinate field staff and process field data.

Liaise with project managers for surveying data

Verify the accuracy of survey data, including measurements and calculations conducted at survey sites.

Prepare site surveying documents and present findings to project manager.

Conduct visual inspections of the building to identify any damages, cracks, moisture issues, or other structural problems.

possess fundamental knowledge of the working flow of mechanical and electrical equipment

Prepare a detailed report that includes all findings from the assessment, including photographs and recommendations for remedial actions.

Identify and assess safety risks within the building, including fire hazards, flood risks, or structural risks

Need to prepare both a dilapidation report and a Building Condition Assessment (BCA) report or any other kind of report deem neccassary to building assestment

Provide cost estimates for recommended repairs or replacements.

Able to use AutoDesk Recap and Revit software in a basic way

Requirements:
- Diploma of Building surveying or Bachelor of Building surveying

At least 2-3 years of working experience

Experience as a defect supervisor is given priority

Proficient in both Bahasa Malaysia & English - written and spoken

Good communication, interpersonal skills, and a good team player

Possess analytical and problem-solving skills

Positive attitude, highly initiative, and able to work with minimum supervision

Must be willing to travel / outstation)

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month

**Experience**:

- Revit: 1 year (preferred)
- surveying: 1 year (preferred)
- BCA: 1 year (preferred)

Willingness to travel:

- 75% (preferred)
