BAT Malaysia Is Looking for a Data Scientist with BI Tools Experience SENIORITY LEVEL: Management Role FUNCTION: IDT Service Management SALARY RANGE: (To Be Discussed) + excellent benefits + market leading bonus LOCATION: Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia ROLE POSITIONING AND OBJECTIVES '¢ Perform statistical experiments and test real world hypothesizes using the cadenced statistical approaches and constructs. '¢ Identify data distributions and model real world scenarios into statistical equations and models. '¢ Machine learning project constructs such as data acquisition, Exploratory Data Analysis (EDA), Feature Engineering, selection, predictive power testing, train test splitting, model training and validation, stability analysis, hyper parameter tuning, compression (pickling and parquet) etc. '¢ Standalone Classical ML methodologies (clustering, various types of regression, tree based '“ random forests, decision trees, PCA etc.), advanced classical methods (bagging, boosting, stacking and other ensemble learning methods), deep learning (Classic Neural networks, CNN, RNN, GANs etc.) '¢ Proficiency in Python. WHAT YOU WILL BE ACCOUNTABLE FOR '¢ Implement data marts and warehouses with data modelling into constructs like snowflake and star schema, dimension cubes, etc. '¢ Perform at-source or at-target data transformation through ETL and ELT. '¢ Proven hands-on experience on enterprise visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Dash etc. '¢ Implement visualization best practices such as pragmatic visual selection, context building, glow signing etc. to achieve effective storyboarding. '¢ Identify KPIs and dimensional visualization of these key performance indicators. '¢ Proficiency in Python ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE '¢ End to end understanding of an analytics or visualization solution '“ data acquisition, data modelling, analytical modelling, and visualization '¢ Stakeholder management and effective communication skills BENEFICIAL '¢ Delivering in ambiguous & dynamic situations as a part of a global multi-functional team by building partnerships & working diplomatically '¢ Drives innovation & knowledge sharing
