Project Manager

**Key Responsibilities**

**Project Planning & Coordination**:

- Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and resource allocation strategies for TNB power-related projects.
- Coordinate with all stakeholders (internal and external) to ensure alignment on project objectives, schedules, and budgets.
- Ensure that all project documentation (e.g., scope, schedule, risk, procurement plans) is developed, maintained, and kept up-to-date.

**Team Management & Leadership**:

- Lead, direct, and motivate a multidisciplinary project team, including engineers, procurement staff, and contractors.
- Manage team performance, conduct regular reviews, and provide guidance and mentorship to team members.
- Foster a collaborative and proactive team environment to ensure smooth execution of projects.

**Budget & Resource Management**:

- Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring cost control and adherence to financial goals.
- Monitor and track project expenditures, identify cost overruns, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Manage procurement of materials, equipment, and services as necessary to meet project requirements.

**Risk Management & Compliance**:

- Identify potential risks and issues that could impact project schedules, costs, or performance, and develop mitigation plans.
- Ensure that all projects are executed in compliance with TNB standards, local regulations, and international industry best practices.
- Maintain high standards of health, safety, and environmental management throughout the project lifecycle.

**Stakeholder Engagement & Reporting**:

- Serve as the primary point of contact for TNB, clients, contractors, and regulatory authorities.
- Prepare regular project progress reports, updates, and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
- Resolve any issues, conflicts, or concerns raised by stakeholders, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

**Quality Assurance**:

- Ensure that all work complies with TNB’s quality standards and specifications.
- Monitor construction and commissioning activities to ensure timely and quality execution of works.
- Review technical reports, drawings, and specifications for accuracy and completeness.

**Project Delivery & Handover**:

- Ensure that all deliverables are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Oversee the commissioning, testing, and handover process to ensure a smooth transition to operations and maintenance.
- Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and opportunities for continuous improvement.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, or related field).
- Master’s Degree or Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is an advantage.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in project management within the power industry, specifically in TNB or similar utility projects.
- Experience in managing power generation, transmission, distribution, or renewable energy projects is highly desirable.
- Proven track record in managing multi-disciplinary teams, budgets, and schedules.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong knowledge of power industry regulations, standards, and best practices, especially within TNB’s framework.
- Excellent project management skills, including scheduling, budgeting, risk management, and quality control.
- Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project).
- Familiarity with safety standards and environmental regulations.
- Ability to solve complex problems and make decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015 is preferably

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
