**Purpose**

Execute M&E inspection of work for Malaysia new project, site inspection work. Assist construction manager to optimized M&E quality assurance at site and ensure compliance with Malaysian regulations & company policies.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- To perform M&E inspections at the projects site and carry out quality audits on M&E works.
- Supervise the contractor’s work on site to ensure that it meets the required quality standards and to assess and evaluate the performance of M&E contractors/supplier and to ensure compliances to technical /M&E work requirement.
- Verify contractor daily report.
- To issue necessary site directions to the contractor and copy to all parties.
- Facilitate interaction between consultants and contractor on site to resolve design and construction issues.
- Monitor delivery of construction materials and ensure that quality, types and /or dimension are as per the specified requirements.
- Liaise and works closely with local authorities, consultants, main contractor and other-sub-contractor involved in the project.
- Prepare Weekly& monthly M & E progress reports and attend site meetings.
- To review design, optimization and provide technical support.
- To ensure contractor are comply with the standards & guidelines.
- To report any non-conforming matters identified during inspections to the Resident Engineer and follow up with contractors to ensure corrective actions are taken.
- To check all defect rectification works in accordance to approved method statement during the Defect Liability Period.
- To ensure proper record keeping of documentation and correspondences for future reference of work done.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
