**Job Title**:

**Reports To**:

- Senior Manager, Technology Architecture and Security

**Position Summary**:

- Overall responsibility for the corporate reports and dashboards for MAG
- Leads team and work with Lead, Data Lake and Lead, Data Governance and Quality, and Technology Architecture Team to provide accurate, timely, clean and useful information / insights to enable business decision making and establish a 'single truth' source of information

**Key Accountability**:

- **To design and translate complex business data into usable data in reports and dashboards.**
- **Work with data architects to design data stores that meets business needs using conceptual, logical, and physical data models.**
- **To ensure models are designed to improve efficiency and outputs, and may focus on issues such as reducing data redundancy or improving data movement across systems**
- **To provide consultation in identifying business needs to improve business returns, efficiencies, defining business users’ requirements, understanding of data flows, propose and implement innovative data solutions**
- **To create and maintain Data Models, by working closely with data engineers to create optimal physical data models of datasets, then create and maintain data maps and systems interrelationship diagrams for data domains and systems**
- **To set standards, by defining and governing data modelling and design standards, tools, best practices, and related development methodologies for MAG**
- **To set standards for document naming, security, and lifecycle & retention architecture**
- **To advise on recommendations based off of data analysis, recommend for standardization and proper data usage.**
- **To provide data model reporting to BU Master Users**
- **Develop and incubate deep functional skills and expertise within the team to function as primary ‘think tank’ for information insights and data management.**

**Qualification**:

- Degree in information technology or related field

**Working Experience**:

- 8 years + of working experience

**Area of Experience**:

- Database, Basic ETL, PowerBI, Data Modeling
- Reporting using Databricks and Snowflake as data source
- Microsoft Azure

**Personality Traits**:

- Able to lead team to handle dynamic business requirements from various MAG profit centres.
- Willing to learn new technologies
