**Key Responsibilities**:
**Teaching**:

- Develop and deliver engaging ICT/Computer Science lessons in line with the Cambridge curriculum for both primary and secondary students.
- Teach fundamental computer skills, digital literacy, and computing concepts to primary students (ages 9-13).
- Provide a more advanced understanding of coding, programming, and computer science topics to secondary students (ages 11-18).
- Create lesson plans and schemes of work that meet the diverse learning needs of students.
- Integrate technology into classroom practice to enhance learning.

**Assessment and Feedback**:

- Design and implement formative and summative assessments to monitor student progress.
- Provide timely and constructive feedback to students and maintain accurate records of student achievement.
- Support students in developing their ICT/ Computer Science skills and addressing areas of improvement.

**Pastoral and Student Support**:

- Promote safe and responsible use of technology in line with school policies.
- Offer individual support to students who may require extra assistance, encouraging their personal development in ICT/Computer Science.
- Provide pastoral care, guiding students in their personal and academic growth.

**Curriculum Development**:

- Collaborate with the Head of Department and other staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive ICT/Computer Science curriculum.
- Stay up-to-date with developments in the field of ICT/ Computer Science and integrate new technologies and pedagogical approaches into lessons.
- Attend regular training and professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices.

**Administrative Duties**:

- Maintain accurate attendance and behavior records.
- Communicate with parents about student progress and contribute to parent-teacher meetings.
- Participate in departmental meetings and school events as required.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor's degree in computer science or any related field from a recognised university.
- At least 1-3 years of experience teaching ICT/ computer science in both primary and secondary school settings.
- Strong knowledge of various ICT software, coding languages (e.g., Python, Scratch), and computing concepts.
- Familiarity with educational technology tools (e.g., Google Classroom, Microsoft Office).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience teaching the Cambridge syllabus will be an advantage.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Contract, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
