Position : Team Lead Backend Developer

Salary : RM 6,000 - RM 12,000

Working Hours : Mon - Fri (8.30am - 5.30pm)

Location : Puchong

**Key Responsibilities**

**Team Leadership & Collaboration**
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Assign and prioritize development tasks, ensuring timely and quality project delivery.
- Review and evaluate team performance; provide coaching and constructive feedback to enhance skills and productivity.
- Facilitate communication and coordination among cross-functional teams including frontend developers, UI/UX designers, analysts, and stakeholders.

**Backend Development & Architecture**
- Design, develop, and maintain robust **.NET Core APIs** and **backend services** using C# to support business-driven solutions.
- Architect scalable, secure, and maintainable backend systems with seamless integration into broader business platforms.
- Ensure backend systems align with **business goals**, **technical requirements**, and **best practices**.

**Business Process Optimization**
- Collaborate with analysts and product managers to understand and enhance business workflows.
- Lead the development of business process-oriented solutions that improve efficiency, usability, and data integration.
- Conduct feasibility studies and risk assessments for new technical initiatives, recommending scalable solutions.

**Technical Excellence & Quality Assurance**
- Establish and enforce **coding standards**, **best practices**, and **quality control** procedures.
- Conduct thorough **code reviews** to ensure consistency, maintainability, and technical soundness.
- Implement **unit and integration testing** to ensure system robustness and reliability.

**Project & Source Management**
- Track project progress using **Jira**; manage sprints, assign tasks, and remove blockers to maintain momentum.
- Maintain version control using **GitHub** and **Bitbucket**, ensuring clean and efficient collaboration.

**Continuous Improvement & Innovation**
- Stay updated on advancements in **.NET Core**, **C#**, and related backend technologies.
- Identify opportunities to **optimize system performance**, **enhance security**, and **automate manual processes**.
- Contribute to the continuous evolution of development practices, incorporating **CI/CD pipelines** and agile methodologies.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in **Computer Science**, **Software Engineering**, or related field—or equivalent work experience.
- Proven experience **leading development teams** and managing technical projects using **.NET Core** and **C#**.
- Deep expertise in developing **RESTful APIs**, **microservices architecture**, and **cloud-based** backend systems.
- Proficient in **Entity Framework**, **LINQ**, and modern backend development tools.
- Solid understanding of **business process modeling** and how backend systems can enhance operational efficiency.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Experience with **GitHub**, **Bitbucket**, **Jira**, and **Agile/Scrum** methodologies.
- Familiarity with **cloud platforms** such as AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus.
- Exposure to **CI/CD tools and pipelines** is highly preferred.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to RM12,000.00 per month
