**Job Summary**

This role works closely together with (key) users and leadership to understand, improve and implement business process requirements. They have an understanding of the overall direction and requirements of the business with respect to products, customer needs, quality requirements and sales goals.

As many implementations and changes to existing processes are managed as projects, this role will be responsible to lead small to medium sized projects (including project budget and resources) and work with external vendors (e.g., consultants).

They will be required to work as part of the global IT team.

**Principal Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Analyze and document business processes within the functional area of expertise (e.g., quality, finance, logistics, customer service, etc.)
- Recommend business process improvements
- Design (technical) solutions to the functional requirements
- Work with IT Analysts from other functional areas to make sure processes integrate/interface seamlessly
- Recommend changes needed to corresponding master data
- Document all customizing and program changes
- Write requirements and technical specifications as well as test scripts
- Test all customizing and program changes
- Train (key) users on the changes
- Provide on-going support to users for the processes and functions within their functional responsibility
- Manage, update and communicate status of open issue list assigned
- Be reachable outside normal office hours for emergency support
- For small to medium size projects assigned: setup project plan with tasks, milestones, timeline, dependencies and budget. Define resource requirements.
- Identify and recommend external (consulting) resource requirements
- Contact external (consulting) resources or vendors if needed for 3rd level support
- Time management: balance time between (small) projects and on-going support

**Education/ Experience Requirements**
Tertiary level qualifications coupled with 7+ years of work experience in a similar role.
- Tertiary level qualification in business, computer science or information systems
- 7+ years of work experience in a similar role
- Strong knowledge and experience of SAP FI and CO modules
- Strong knowledge and experience of integration points between SAP FI module and Logistics modules
- Experience leading a project team or functional team
- SAP certified

**Language Requirements**
Strong English communications skills; both written and verbal.

**Travel Requirements**:

- As this is an Asia Pacific role, the person will be required to travel throughout Asia Pacific from time to time. (Estimate: 5 to 15% travel)
