Account Executive

**Responsibilities**:
- Responsible for the daily operations of the Accounting Department, such as Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, General Ledger, Interco, Bank Reconciliation
- Ensure that all payments and invoices are prepared promptly and has been processed and approved following proper internal control procedures and SOPs
- Preparation of general ledger entries and ensuring all accounting records are properly updated in the accounting software with supporting documents
- Ensure timely monthly/yearly closing of accounts and generation of financial reports
- Assist in preparation of periodic management/statutory reports and schedules
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, internal controls, financial policies and procedures
- Assist in new processes and system implementation when required
- Undertake any other ad hoc duties as and when assigned
**Requirements**:
- Degree in Accountancy and/or equivalent professional qualification
- Minimum 1 year of working experience in the related field
- Able to work independently with mínimal supervision and meet deadlines
- Self-motivated, fast learner and good attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, able to communicate with various stakeholders (eg: upper management, external accountant, corporate secretaries etc.)
- Strong problem solving and analytical skills
- Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
