**Responsibilities**:

- The day-to-day of a butchery team member includes:

- 1. Cut and trim the meat from larger, wholesale portions into the store standard cuts.
- 2. Wrap, weigh label, and price a variety of cuts of meat for on-demand selections by customers in an efficient manner that keeps customers satisfied.
- 3. Receive and inspect deliveries of meat to ensure that they adhere to the highest quality standards and are not expired.
- 4. Maintain and clean the meat preparation counter to reduce the risk of food contamination and adhere to food safety guidelines.
- 5. Maintain hygiene of the storage area, selling floor and entire department as well as equipment (machine and utensils) according to the Company Standard Operating Procedure.
- 6. Daily monitor the correct temperature of the refrigerator and update the temperature sheet on daily basis.
- 7. Ensure FIFO (First in First Out) & FEFO (First Expiry First Out) practice in the cold room and normal chiller display through daily inspection on the expiry dates and freshness of the products.
- 8. Perform a daily check on the price change report to ensure every product with the correct price and description.
- 9. Ensure the correct information on POP cards and display it according to company standards.
- 10. Provide feedback regarding stock movement and propose stock ordering to the superior.
- 11. Always provide good services to the customers.
- 12. Provide good customer service to understand customers’ inquiries and provide appropriate recommendations to the customers.
- 13. Provide support to team members as and when needed.
- 14. To carry out any other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- 15. To respond to changes in the departmental function as required by industry, company, or the store.
