**Responsibilities**:

- Execute standards and procedures for plant operations.
- Plan and coordinate production activities and oversee the work of subordinates.
- Manage inventories of materials and supplies to meet production demands.
- Recommend process improvements to enhance product quality and capacity.
- Monitor and implement quality control programs.
- Investigate production issues, waste, and develop resolutions.
- Schedule equipment maintenance and inspections.
- Focus on production planning, including forecasting material requirements and manpower utilization.
- Coordinate production schedules and planning, and prepare and submit monthly production reports.
- Monitor overall quality and output of production, quality control, and packing to ensure customer requirements are met.
- Review production line cleaning, safety, and preventive maintenance.
- Analyze reports from Jennerjahn, Rewind, or Fanfold machines.
- Continuously seek to improve productivity and reduce rejects, waste, and downtime.
- Review and update quality system procedures and work instructions for the department.
- Prepare department budget for submission to the Accounting Department.
- Achieve department KPIs and targets, and investigate and discuss with the team if not achieved.
- Plan and approve duty rosters for the department.
- Ensure sufficient resources (manpower) for effective and efficient department operations.
- Ensure compliance with work safety practices.
- Enforce company rules and regulations.
- Perform other duties or tasks as assigned by the superior.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (preferably Mechanical or Manufacturing).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing.
- Experience **handling multiple production lines**:

- Experience in managing and conducting staff performance appraisals and coaching.
- Provide training, guidance, and coaching to subordinates to ensure they are well-trained to carry out their functions effectively.
- Build cooperative working relationships across departments.
- Knowledge of manufacturing technologies, processes, and **Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).**:

- Understanding of **operational excellence principles **and tools (e.g., Value Streams or Lean Manufacturing).
- Proficient in problem-solving and troubleshooting techniques.
- Skilled in time study and manpower utilization calculation.
- Experience leading a team of production supervisors, operators, and technicians.
- Experience coaching junior team members to deliver results.
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the superior or management.
