**Job Summary**:
The Retail Assistant plays a key role in delivering an excellent customer shopping experience by assisting with sales, maintaining store presentation, and providing product knowledge. This role ensures the smooth running of daily operations in a retail environment.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Customer Service**:

- Greet and assist customers promptly and courteously.
- Address customer inquiries and provide product recommendations.
- Handle complaints professionally and escalate when necessary.

**Sales Support**:

- Assist customers in selecting products that meet their needs.
- Promote ongoing sales, discounts, and loyalty programs.
- Achieve personal and team sales targets.

**Stock Management**:

- Restock shelves and maintain inventory levels.
- Perform stock checks and report discrepancies.
- Assist with unloading and organizing new stock deliveries.

**Store Maintenance**:

- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing.
- Arrange displays according to promotional guidelines.
- Monitor fitting rooms and return items to racks.

**Cash Handling**:

- Operate the point-of-sale (POS) system and process transactions.
- Handle cash, credit cards, and digital payments accurately.
- Perform daily cash reconciliation.

**Teamwork**:

- Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth store operations.
- Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
- Assist with special events or promotions as needed.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
**Education**:SPM or equivalent (retail experience is a plus).

**Skills**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic numerical and cash-handling skills.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

**Personal Attributes**:

- Friendly, approachable, and customer-focused.
- Reliable and able to work flexible hours (weekends, public holidays).
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.

**Work Environment**:

- Retail store environment; may require standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
