Mechanical Foreman

Foremen maintain and modify various machines, tools, products, and mechanical equipment. They collect technical data for design and machine optimization. Working under supervision, they analyze data and perform report of mechanical/electrical components. Foremen perform installation, repair, routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and commissioning of mechanical/electrical components and systems to ensure their reliability related to OEE and wastage control. In addition, they contribute to productivity improvement projects in organizations. Operations - Assist in execution of developed Asset Management/Preventive Maintenance /Project /Changeover program, including operational asset care to maintain low production down time and high operations efficiency whilst optimising cost for Plant. - Assist engineering team to diagnose mechanical/electrical problems and provide solutions in shift. - Provide engineering support to shift production supervisor. - Assist engineers in monitoring and reporting of machine and process performance. - Record and report all break-down in shift. - Assist in ensuring compliance with ISO/GMP requirements - Liaise with Engineers to ensure that mechanical/electrical problem is rectified. - To keep stock the spare parts, spare kits and necessary items for critical machines - Undertake any other duties as may be required from time to time by your line Manager.
