RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Performs a variety of warehousing activities such as verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling and disposition of materials, and keeping warehouse inventory current. 2. Issues and receives material, pulling kits off the shelf, verifies incoming/outgoing material to the warehouse, counts parts, answers “On-hand verification Requests”, places parts on the appropriate location and tags, and enters system transactions. 3. Completes all assignments in a timely manner and procedures are followed. 4. Responsible for maintaining an accurate inventory status. 5. Ensures all parts and tools are available for specific jobs throughout the day, week and/or month by supplying kits and parts ahead of schedule. 6. Meets manufacturing schedules on delivery requirements. 7. Responsible to ensure all work and paperwork is accounted to the proper router or work order. 8. Responsible for quality and quantity of all tasks during the shift. 9. Completely understands priorities by using dispatch and the backlog reports to prioritize and expedite jobs. REQUIREMENTS 1. Knowledgeable of inventory transactions and terminology. 2. Must be able to distinguish between acceptable and non-acceptable parts. 3. Strong Math skills and be focused on accuracy. 4. Good judgment, problem solving skills and detailed oriented. 5. Safely drive a forklift. 6. Forklift certification. 7. Experience in warehouse, inspection, sheetmetal assembly, packaging and inventory control.
