Account Executive

**JOB SUMMARY**
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for managing and maintaining a full set of accounts and financial statements independently. You will prepare monthly management reports, perform financial analysis, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders across departments.
**KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
**1. Accounting Operations**
i. Handle daily accounting activities, including processing AR transactions and updating the general ledger.
ii. Monitor and improve accounting workflows and operational processes.
iii. Ensure all accounting records and documents are properly filed, organised, and audit-ready.
iv. Prepare monthly management accounts and related financial analysis, including notes to the accounts.
v. Perform regular bank reconciliations and reconcile supplier accounts.
**2. Inventory and Pricing Control**
i. Track and monitor stock movement within the inventory system.
ii. Coordinate daily, weekly, and monthly stock counts, and review stock variances.
iii. Conduct product pricing and re-pricing to ensure competitiveness and market alignment.
**3. Credit and Payment Management**
i. Review and monitor daily credit control, collection, and payment activities.
ii. Ensure timely and accurate processing of payments and collections.
**4. General and Ad-Hoc Responsibilities**
i. Support any other duties or special projects assigned by the superior or management.
ii. Provide backup support in related functions as needed.
**5. Stakeholder Engagement**
i. Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, suppliers, and customers as required.
ii. Ensure professional communication and timely responses to internal and external inquiries.
**6. Additional Duties**
Undertake any other tasks, projects, or ad-hoc duties assigned by immediate superiors and management.
**EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE**
1. Education: At least a Diploma in Accounting or a relevant filed.
2. Experience: At least 1-2 years of working experience in a similar role is preferred.
**SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE**
1. Good command of both verbal and written English and Bahasa, with the ability to communicate effectively across diverse backgrounds and cultures. Proficiency of both verbal and written Mandarin is an added advantage.
2. Ability to multitask, demonstrate confidence, meticulousness, and the capability to work independently.
4. Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
5. Knowledge of Microsoft Office, proficient in Microsoft Office and capable of learning accounting software such as UBS, is a mandatory advantage.
6. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with people at all backgrounds and cultures.
**CROSS-DEPARTMENT COLLABORATION**
1. Work closely with Operations, Procurement, and other departments to ensure financial data aligns with operational needs.
2. Provide timely financial recommendations and reports to support decision-making across departments.
3. Assist in resolving cross-functional issues such as stock discrepancies and pricing adjustments.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
