**JOB SCOPE**
- Staff Nurse reported to In Charge of Clinical Department.
- Adhere to all policies, procedure nursing and code of ethics.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**
- RESPONSIBILITIES_
- To assist In Charge in implementing the established nursing care and procedure in all units.
- DUTIES_
- Work on shift duties.
- Receives report at every shift.
- Knows the cases in detail.
- Progress of the patient.
- Ensures all work on her shift has been carried out and passes over correctly to the next shift.
- Any incident or problem encountered to report to matron.
- Visit patient in the unit after taking over duties
- Assess condition of patient and compare with report received.
- Determine priorities of lower categories and plan need accordingly.
- Follow doctor rounds and assist in doing procedure.
- Carries out orders pertaining to care of patients and progress of patients.
- Informs matron when incidences occur which effect standard of care, report and documented.
- Establish and develop effective communication with all disciplines, patient, relatives to achieve optimal patient satisfaction.
- Participate in teaching or orientation of any new staff or supervision of the lower categories staff.
- Checking of admission and registration is complete and correct also ensuring the ward charges.
- RESPONSIBILITIES_
- Undertake any other duties directed by Management.
- Duties_
- Any others duties as ordered by Matron or any other job related duties.
- Responds to public enquiries.
- Assists and provide other services on ad hoc basis.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Knowledge_
- Basic nursing care and practice and understand the procedure.
- An understanding of relevant legislation policies and procedure.
- Skills_
- Diploma in Nursing
- Effective verbal and listening communication skill.
- Time management system.
- Analytical and problem solving skill.
- Decision making skills.
- Computer skill.

- **Operation Hours**:_
Monday to Friday: 8:30AM - 5:30PM
Saturday: 8:30PM - 12:30PM

Pay: From RM1,700.00 per month
