**About the role**

As a Special Needs Educator at Brain Activation Therapy and Learning Centre, you will play a crucial role in providing tailored educational support and care to students with diverse learning needs. This full-time position is based in Gelugor, Bayan Lepas or Bukit Mertajam Penang or Johor Bharu, and requires a passion for inclusive education and a commitment to empowering students to reach their full potential.

**What you'll be doing**
- Developing and implementing individualised education plans to cater to the unique needs of each student
- Utilising a range of teaching methods and assistive technologies to engage and support students with special needs
- Collaborating with parents, therapists, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
- Maintaining detailed records and progress reports to track student achievements and identify areas for improvement
- Participating in ongoing professional development to stay informed of the latest teaching strategies and best practices in special education

**What we're looking for**
- A degree or relevant qualification in special education, teaching, or a related field
- Proven experience working with students who have diverse learning needs, such as autism, ADHD, or developmental disabilities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Exceptional patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of students with special needs
- Proficient in the use of assistive technologies and teaching aids to support student learning
