Job Summary:
The Pricing Actuary role is to perform and manage the actuarial roles related to underwriting department which includes: Pricing, CAT modeling, Portfolio Analysis, Business Plan and Underwriting Analytics.

**Responsibilities**

1. Participates in cross-functional teams to develop new and/or enhanced systems/processes/programs/policies to support business needs.

2. Perform technical pricing for treaty business.

3. Performs regular analytical review according to the matrixes and recommend action plans for management.

4. Reviews the UW portfolio and ensure it is in line with the company’s risk appetite.

5. Prepares recommendations based on data summaries, trend analysis, financial analysis, and business analysis.

6. Prepares presentations, reports, and quarterly updates for different stakeholders, e.g. regulators.

7. Develops tools/processes to improve the current practice of the operation.

8. Comparisons of actual profitability with business planning expectations.

9. Perform CAT modeling.

10. Prepare the Business Plan in coordination with UW team.

11. Coordinate with the Actuarial Services Department in respect of the pricing tools, CAT modeling, etc.

12. Any other tasks assigned by the CUO

**Qualifications**
- BA/BS degree in actuarial science, math, statistic, or engineering.
- At least 4 years of actuarial experience.
- Associate of Reputable Actuarial Organization.
- Strong mathematical, statistical, and financial skills.
- Good verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional analytical skills.
- Decisiveness and good judgment.
- Accuracy and attention to details.

**Salary**: RM6,000.00 - RM15,000.00 per month
