**JOB SUMMARY**

To handle planning of assign project/customer account and assist the Planning Manager to manage the team of planners under TCS

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. Contribute to the workplace safety and health improvement for the employees, as well as environmental protection, by adhering to the company’s Environmental, Health and Safety policies and procedures, and helping to achieve EHS objectives and targets through participation of EHS programs.

2. Prepare Master Production Schedule (MPS), optimizing the use of available resources and coordinate with related departments to ensure product, volume and shipment are meeting targeted levels. 3. Release and Maintenance of Work Orders (WO) in SAP based on Customers’ Purchase Order Requirements, and commit shipments against required dates.

4. Monitor and ensure Production follow strictly to the MPS / Priority, and to close WO within the targeted time line.

5. Collaborate across departments to determine materials in house requirements and meeting the production plan effectively.

6. Manage demand exceptions, inventory and supply.

7. Evaluating inventory turns performance and implementing inventory controls, such as materials pull and push strategies based on planning analysis.

8. Work with Engineering for ECN and deviations, as well as QA on quality issue that affects production planning.

9. Supporting Program Management on the E&O and follow through for closure.

10. Participate in NPI Projects and support for achieve milestones of the project delivery schedule.

11. Participate in Interplant Product Transfer activities.

12. Team lead for a group of planners.

13. Train/monitor a team of planners to meet required performance.

14. To assist Planning Manager to co-ordinate/follow up on any crisis on meeting customer requirement.

15. Any other duties as assigned by Planning Manager/company.

**EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE**

1. Degree/Diploma in Business Management.

2. Minimum 3 years in contract manufacturing or other electronics manufacturing industry.

**JOB-RELATED SKILLS**

1. Able to work in a fast paced environment & withstand pressure.

2. Able to work with all levels of people.

3. Good written English & communication skills.

4. Knowledge of MS Office - Excel preferred.

5. Knowledge of SAP preferred.

**Salary**: RM2,700.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
