Prosthetic and Orthotic Technician

The Technician is in charge of the fabrication of prosthetic and orthotic devices. This involves material selection and appropriate fabrication and finishing processes. The Technician also assists the Practitioners with any needed adjustments during the fitting process, traveling out of office if needed.

**Task and Duties**

**Materials Selection**

Selecting the most appropriate material (i.e. material type, thickness etc.) for fabrication.

**Quality Fabrication**

Fabricate the device to the assigned specifications in a timely manner, ensuring high quality end product including adjustments and finishing

**Lab Safety & Cleanliness**

Ensuring the safety and cleanliness of the lab, including taking appropriate safety measures when working

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
