Assistant - Accounts (Intercompany)

This position is responsible for day-to-day operations of the Inter-company team, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the department as well as compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
**Responsibilities**:
- Manage and record all inter-company transactions, ensuring timely and accurate postings.
- Prepare inter-company invoices, payments & receipts and ensure appropriate reconciliations.
- Reconcile inter-company balances between the entities and ensure correctly reported in the general ledger.
- Investigate and resolve any inter-company variances in a timely manner.
- Liaise with various departments for documents coordination.
- Support manager in preparation of management reports and analysis.
- Assist in preparing accurate financial statements related to inter-company activities.
- Prepare and issue timely and accurate SOA (Statement Of Account) to inter-company partners and ensure that the SOA reflects the correct balances and all relevant transactions.
- Follow up on SOA discrepancies and ensure they are resolved with the respective partners.
- Coordinate with JV-partners on payment collection and settlement of outstanding balances.
- Ensure compliance with internal control procedures and suggest enhancements where necessary.
- Closely follow up with related department (e.g., Invoicing team) on errors detected during quality checks on posted documents, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
- Support annual audit and tax requests, providing necessary documentation and information.
- Any other duties as and when assigned from time to time.
Pay: From RM2,500.00 per month
