Assistant Manager Supply Chain Solution/analyst

The primary purpose of the role is to lead the development and implementation of innovative, customer oriented supply chain solutions that result in retaining its current customers and increasing its market share through targeted business development conversions. The role will engage with business development managers, business unit leaders, site managers and external customers in the development of innovative solutions that are aligned with the Linfox supply chain solutions strategy.

The scope of customer engagements will include business and processes analyses, transport and distribution center modeling, cost and service reviews resulting in the creation of solutions that address issues and opportunities for selected customers. The incumbent may also lead related implementation projects.



Key activities will include:

- Reviews with business units and customers to understand current processes and capabilities
- Engagement with business to understand the business drivers and drivers of demand
- Costing relevant elements of the proposed solutions for inclusion in business cases
- Presenting and demonstrating the solutions for business units and customers
- Leading solution design teams to incorporate technical input from members of the Supply Chain Solutions team in accordance with agreed engagement processes and methodologies
- Risk management within the solution design process
- Coordinating the preparation of relevant documentation and manage associated peer review processes
- Coordinating input across technical solution design disciplines to ensure the development of coherent solutions
- Preparing and managing implementation plans for approved projects
- Project coordination of approved implementation projects
- Activating implementation processes for approved projects
- Maintaining ongoing monitoring activities of key projects which are being, or have been, implemented in order to maximize value development.

Project coordination on approved implementation projects Supply Chain Solution Group accountabilities:

- Managing Solution Design team input for development projects
- Liaising with implementation Project Manager during project handover and delivery
- Developing capability for projects within specific area of expertise for incumbent
- Viability of the proposed solutions
- Intellectual property creation
- Risk management during the solution design and implementation processes.

Education, Qualifications & Experience
- Degree involving strong analytical skills, e.g. engineering/computing, business, logistics
- Depth of experience in Supply Chain Solution pre-sales support or professional services/consulting
- Demonstrated experience in relationship management within large corporate environments
- Detailed knowledge of supply chain industry, strategic drivers, economics and innovation
- Demonstrated ability to analyst and plan viable, commercially oriented capability based supply chain solutions
- An organized and systematic approach to work, and high attention to detail
- Strong customer presentation and communication skills
- Demonstrated experience in supply chain operations
- Demonstrated experience of successful implementations
- Demonstrated ability to produce tender/RFQ grade documents

**Salary**: RM5,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
