Job Title: Procurement Assistant
Department: Finance & Admin
Reports to: Group Finance Manager
Location: Putra Heights, Subang Jaya
**Job Summary**:
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Prepare and process purchase requisitions and purchase orders (POs) accurately and in a timely manner.
- Liaise and correspond with suppliers to request quotations, check stock availability, and confirm prices and lead times.
- Monitor the status of open purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of goods and services.
- Receive and inspect deliveries to verify that they match the PO specifications and quantity.
- Maintain and update purchasing records, including supplier information, product details, and pricing.
- Assist in sourcing new suppliers and obtaining competitive quotations.
- Coordinate with other departments (e.g., Warehouse, Accounts) to ensure smooth workflow regarding deliveries and invoicing.
- Resolve any issues related to purchase orders, such as delivery delays, quality problems, or invoice discrepancies.
- Maintain a systematic filing system for all purchasing documents (POs, delivery orders, invoices).
- Perform other administrative and procurement-related duties as assigned.
**Qualifications and Requirements**:
- Education: Minimum SPM, Certificate, or Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience: At least 1-2 years of experience in a purchasing, procurement, or administrative role.
**Skills**:
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Experience with purchasing software or ERP systems is a plus (Codemax & SQL).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good negotiation and follow-up skills.
- Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Fresh graduate
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
