Director of Rooms

We are looking for Director of Rooms

As a Director of Rooms, we rely on you to

Be responsible to provide guest services, supervision, direction and leadership in the Rooms Division with the objective, performance and quality standards established by Shangri-La Group and the hotel.
Planning, developing, implementing and evaluating the quality of rooms in the property.
Positioning of works with direct reports to develop and implement departmental strategies and ensures implementation of the brand service strategy and brand initiatives.
Ensures Rooms operations meet the brand's standards, target customer needs, ensure employee satisfaction, focuses on growing revenues and maximizes the financial performance of the department.
Develops and implements property-wide strategies that deliver products and services to meet or exceed the needs and expectations of the brand's target customer and employees and provides a return on investment to the owner and company.

**We are looking for someone who**:
Diploma/Degree in Hotel Management or equivalent
Minimum 5 years' experience in an international or similar class hotel / resort
Professional, presentable, articulate and fluent in oral & written English
Ability to interact, display initiative and able to lead and motivate the team
Commitment to professional values and integrity
Able to work flexible hours
