**Production Planner**

**RM5000-7000**

**Location : Batu Kawan Industrial Park, 14100 Batu Kawan, Penang**

Determining the required materials and generating purchase orders.

Evaluating purchase orders to create suitable production schedules.

Ensuring materials meet specifications, quality standards, and are cost-efficient.

Preparing cost estimates and performance reports.

Ensuring & estimating the amount of material, equipment, and labor required for production.

Promptly addressing and resolving production issues to minimize delays in production.

Coordinating with other departments regarding production goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.

Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.

Effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met.

Promptly informing the relevant departments of changes to current production schedules.

Scheduling and overseeing the supply and delivery of materials and products.

Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to

Conducting research on potential products, vendors, and services, and comparing price and quality to ensure the best deal.

Writing reports on purchases made and performing cost analyses

Recommending viable solutions to reduce production costs as well as improve production processes and product quality.

Learn and execute role-relevant ERP (Epicor) tasks.

Liaising with customers, suppliers, and distributors.

Managing inventory issues, schedule changes, and cancellations.

Other duties may be assigned as deemed appropriate by management.

Other tasks as defined by leadership.

**Education and Experience**:
At least 3 years of experience in a related field

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering (preferred). Equivalent work experience will be considered.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP management systems.

Strong organizational and negotiation skills.

Experienced with metal (stainless steel, titanium, aluminum) and plastics machining preferred.

Material and Production planning is required.

Excellent interpersonal skills, including verbal and written communication in English & Bahasa Malaysia.
