**Role Description**

This is a full-time on-site role as a Finance Manager at **Club Med in Kuantan, Malaysia**. The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing financial operations, managing budgets, conducting financial analysis, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with regulations. They will also collaborate with other departments to optimize financial performance and provide strategic recommendations.

**Preferred background**
- Accounting qualification (Diploma/Bachelor’s/Masters etc.)
- 5-8 years of experience in hospitality, better have 2 resorts experience or at least with reputable hotel / resort
- 3 years of experience in a leadership role - where he/she is required to lead a team of more than 3, acting as a bridge between middle and upper management
- 2 years of experience with P&L forecasting/budgeting and variance analysis using Excel and/or other management reporting tools
- Oracle/Nafi experience is not a must, but better to have good knowledge in accounting system, and know basic function for other systems such as Booking/Purchase systems
- **Must know** how to perform cash and physical inventory management

**Preferred personality**
- **Appreciates novelty of a resort GO role**
- FAM has only 1 day off i.e. has to work weekends, and longer working hours will be expected
- Outside of the office duties during the day, duty requires to be involved in activities (e.g. entertainment or performances for the GMs (clients) after office hours.
- Closing process itself will definitely require FAM to work more hours on certain days
- **Self-motivated**
- Must be able to proactively engage colleagues or propose action plans to resolve issues within the resort
- Must be able to empower different resort teams to hit sales and cost targets. Together with CDV, FAM is the key source of information for sales/cost achievement and targets
- **Amiable yet firm**
- Create/Maintain good relationships with other departments
- Must not afraid to challenge where needed if there are lapses in finance and operational controls
- FAM needs to make sure he/she is able to enforce controls without compromising on relationships with colleagues onsite
- Good awareness of organization structure
