The Fund Accounting Intermediate Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participating in a variety of fund valuation activities in coordination with the Operations - Transaction Services team. The overall objective of this role is to assist in the calculation of daily and periodic Net Asset Valuations (NAVs) for funds and the distribution of associated unit prices. **Responsibilities**: - Monitor the work activities to ensure timeliness and accuracy of the funds activities in a department, including calculation of NAV and distribution factors - Process daily work in a timely and accurate manner as well as act as an escalation point for questions and research - Review associate work and provide signoff for complex transactions or sensitive clients - Assist in developing training materials and training employees, and act as escalation point for questions and research - Ensure procedures and controls are followed and the integrity of the data processing environment is maintained - Support and oversee overall fraud quality control both monetary and non-monetary - Assist manager in identifying need for and implementing procedural changes, assist in BAU administration of team, and act as backup for manager **Qualifications**: - 2-5 years of relevant experience - Chartered Accountant /CFA/MBA - Experience in accounting, finance, or business-related area - Experience in fund administration, change management, and/or project management - Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) knowledge in related area - Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication **Education**: - Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience The role holder will be involved in the on-boarding of the new client’s Funds (ABOR & IBOR), as part of the Global FA Migration Team focused on on-boarding this new client/funds to Citi Fund Accounting platforms across APAC, EMEA & NAM. The role holder should have strong Third-Party Administration **Fund Accounting **knowledge and be familiar with reconciliations of data / funds. **Job Purpose**: The role holder will be responsible for the Reconciliation of Positional, Transactional, and Trial Balance fund data during fund migrations. In addition, the role holder will support the testing of processes, controls & procedures associated with the migration of target funds from the legacy fund accounting system to Citi fund accounting systems. **Key Responsibilities**: - Responsible for the migration & reconciliation of funds being transitioned onto Citi platforms - Production and Annotation of Migration Rec Packs - Analysis, Investigation, and resolution of Breaks - Basis Point Impact Analysis of Rec Breaks & recommendation of corrective actions - Explanation of Breaks to stakeholders and clients - Identification and understanding of KSDs (known System/processing differences) - Reconciling funds during parallel running to facilitate client sign-off - Collation, monitoring and delivery of all evidencing required by the Client within the **Migration framework** - Raise all issues/concerns identified risks promptly to Migration Management - Responsible for input into issue resolution as required - Participation in meetings as defined by Migration managers - Complete all Migration testing requirements to prove out migration processes & timings - Migration of funds (both live and during Dress Rehearsals) over **weekends & evenings where required** - Assisting Op Teams in integrating Migrating funds into existing or target Operating Models **Knowledge/Experience**: - Fund Accounting experience & TPA Ops experience essential - Experience of NAV and TB Reconciliations - Good understanding of financial instruments (Bonds, Equities, CD/CP, Dividends, Deposits, FX, ETD, OTC, etc.) - Previous experience of Data / FA Migration projects advantageous - Experience of working in Project teams desirable - Experience of Multifonds & InvestOne Fund Accounting systems preferred - Experience of FIS, ICON, HiPortfolio, MCH, Geneva and other Fund Accounting systems desirable - Tax knowledge advantageous, i.e. foreign tax treaties and withholding tax, Corp tax, Investor Taxes, GST - **Job Family Group**: Operations - Transaction Services - **Job Family**: Fund Accounting - **Time Type**: Full time - Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer.
