Requirement:

- Possess Electrical certification or any relevant studies.
- Willing to work during odd hours whenever necessary, standby/ on-call and take prompt action for downtime.
- Willing to base at Seelong Sanitary Landfill and willing to travel whenever required.

Core Responsibilities
- Conduct landfill gas quality and leachate level using portable instrumentation. Monitor sample points such as wells and etc. Record data in logbook and daily operation check list.
- Adjust LFG flow rates from wells, as necessary, to optimize gas production from the cell.
- Calibrate and maintain permanent gas analyzer daily.
- Schedule required calibration or maintenance as necessary.
- Maintain a gas collection logbook, noting pertinent Information related to cell operations.
- Advise the Project Executive of all conditions that might impact operations.
- Assist the Project Executive in the analysis of the data collected to tune the gas collection system for optimum long-term emissions control.
- Coordinate with contractor repairs and modifications necessary to maintain and operate landfill gas collection and electrical generation system.
- Perform routine maintenance or repairs to landfill gas collection and electrical generation system including wells, wellheads, collection lines, condensate traps, flares, gas engine and associated equipment as directed.
- Operate and perform maintenance on the landfill gas collection and electrical generation system.
- Operate all test and safety equipment, as required or directed.
- Prepare and submit compliance, operational, and safety forms or reports, as directed.
- Utilize PC based landfill gas management and word processing software to prepare reports.
- Monitor and supervise work on general worker and daily housekeeping.
- Monitor landfill wells periodically to ensure proper functioning and performance.
- Report fast on any breakdowns and to assist in arranging resources for the repair work.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

**Salary**: Up to RM2,900.00 per month
