**JOB SUMMARY**

The Control and Instrumentation Maintenance Technician is responsible to coordinate and execute maintenance activities within the scope of Control and Instrumentation Section in at the Waste-to-Energy (WTE) and Waste Segregation Facility (WSF) and common areas in a safe and efficient manner within safety and environmental constrains and design parameters.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Coordinate and execute maintenance activities within the scope of Control and Instrumentation Section in accordance with maintenance procedure and by the most cost-efficient means.
- Maintain Control and Instrumentation Section records.
- Assist Engineer in solving recurring and outstanding problems related to the plant systems or equipment; in order to improve plant performance.
- Provide maintenance engineering support, solutions and execution, in order to improve plant performance.
- Assist Engineer in developing preventive and predictive maintenance task list and maintenance schedule, in order to maintain equipment integrity.
- Ensure safekeeping and safe handling of tools and equipment and maintain its register and inventory.
- Coordinate Control and Instrumentation Section Outage Tasks, which include tasks scheduling, manpower requirement, manpower arrangement, liaison with contractors and report writing.
- Monitor and optimize spare parts and consumables holdings for the area of responsibility.
- Adapt QHSE procedures when carrying out maintenance activities.
- Maintain a high safety and quality conscious working environment and ensure compliance with all QHSE and legislative Health & Safety and Environmental requirements.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Diploma in Control and Instrumentation Engineering
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in the maintenance of Thermal Power Plants.
- A detailed knowledge of engineering practices, function and processes involved in power plant operation and maintenance.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
