**Position Summary**:
Responsible for preparing and cooking food items as per the established recipes and menus. The individual must ensure high-quality food is served to guests, maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen, and assist in food preparation tasks.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Food Preparation**:

- Prepare and cook dishes according to the restaurant's menu or catering requirements.
- Ensure the presentation and quality of dishes meet standards.
- Measure and mix ingredients according to recipes
- **Kitchen Operations**:

- Maintain kitchen cleanliness and adhere to health and safety standards.
- Ensure proper storage and handling of food products.
- Clean cooking stations, utensils, and equipment after use.
- **Inventory Management**:

- Monitor stock levels and report shortages to the Kitchen Manager.
- Assist with the ordering and receipt of supplies as needed.
- **Team Collaboration**:

- Work efficiently with kitchen staff to ensure timely food service.
- Assist in training junior kitchen staff and ensuring adherence to company protocols.
- **Quality Control**:

- Ensure that all food is prepared and presented according to the restaurant's quality standards.
- Identify and address issues in food preparation or presentation.
- **Compliance**:

- Follow all safety and food handling procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Comply with all health and safety regulations related to kitchen operations.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent. Culinary certification preferred.
- **Experience**: Prior experience in a cooking or kitchen role preferred (e.g., line cook, prep cook, or chef).
- **Skills**:

- Knowledge of cooking techniques and kitchen equipment.
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to food safety.
- **Physical Requirements**: Ability to stand for long periods, lift heavy items, and work in hot environments.

**Working Hours**:

- Hours may vary based on shifts, weekends, holidays, or evening hours.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
