**Job Title: : Junior Executive - Data Governance**

**Department : Investment Data Management Department (IDMD)**

**Job Type : 6 months contract (renewable)**

**PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES**
- Assist in reviewing existing work on Investment Data Governance, e.g., conduct a current state assessment, refine the desired future state view of PNB Enterprise and Investment Data governance, identify gaps based on industry benchmarking, and recommend the best approach for implementing the PNB Enterprise and Investment Data Governance initiative.
- Assist in updating and/or develop relevant documentation for Data Governance implementation while ensuring alignment and adherence of the initiative with PNB’s enterprise and investment systems, enterprise policy, and compliance enforcement. Documentation includes but is not limited to the framework, guidelines, policies, data governance structure, terms of reference (with clear roles, responsibilities, and accountabilities), indicators of data performance and quality matrices, metadata lineage of inbound and outbound data, as well as data standards.
- Assist in executing the recommended solutions from #1 with the existing team by working directly with various relevant stakeholders.
- Collaborate with the team and the Data Governance Specialist to provide potential actions for improving data performance and quality in the areas of consistencies, completeness, uniqueness, accuracy, validity, reliability, timeliness, relevancy, auditability, and compliance within relevant areas such as systems and procedures.
- Support the team and the Data Governance Specialist with the development of awareness and/or completion of documentation for Enterprise and Investment Data Governance, process adaptation, process harmonization, change management, and training programs, including structuring and organizing relevant training/workshops/engagements for various functions relevant to Data Governance.
- Provide regular and timely updates, as well as tracking of progress for all deliverables.

**DELIVERABLES**

1. Gaps analysis, data quality assessment, benchmarking review, implementation plan, trackers.

2. Analysis and presentation of findings from the Data Governance Maturity Assessment, regulatory requirements, and best practices / guidelines from relevant external parties.

3. Conduct Awareness Programmes, Data Maturity Workshops, and any other engagements or socialisation required to relevant stakeholders.

4. Refinement of existing documentations (framework, policy, guidelines / handbook, term of reference, user manuals/cheat sheets, etc).

5. Gaps analysis, assessment of current system capabilities and recommendation for Data Enablement tool (e.g., drafting RFP documentation).

6. Data Standard, Data Lineage, Data Quality, Data Ownership documentation.

7. Other documentations if deemed necessary.

**Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**

1. Practical familiarity with DMBOK (Data Management Body of Knowledge) or DCAM Framework from EDM Council or Data Management Maturity Programme from ISACA (Information Systems Audit and Control Association) or COBIT (Control Objectives for Information and Related Technologies) from ISACA as well as knowledge in Data Governance, Data Management, Data Lineage, Data Quality, and general data literacy.

2. Familiarity in setting and/or defining data governance framework, policies, and procedures as well as organisation change management.

3. Familiarity in metadata management (Data Classifications, Glossary, and data lineage).

4. Familiarity in Project Management Implementation for area related to Investment Data Governance, Framework, Structure, Change Management and Policy.

5. Ability to influence internal stakeholders of various ranks, build relationships, and facilitate meetings, including moderating problem-solving discussion.

6. Experienced with PowerPoint presentation with relevant internal organisation committees as well as Visio and other relevant Data Governance tools.

**Education, Experience and Certifications**

1. Bachelor/master's degree in information technology / finance / legal related background (i.e., Computer Science, Information Technology, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or Law).

2. A minimum of at least 6 months related experience covering areas such as Strategy, Management Consulting, Transformation, Initiatives, Framework Development, Data & Information Governance, Project Management Implementation related.

3. Familiarity with financial services, asset management and/or investment process is required.

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM6,000.00 per month
