**Responsibilities**:

- Plan, implement, test, maintain, and support in-house database environments.
- Quickly address and resolve operational incidents or escalate when necessary.
- Set up database engines for development, testing, and production environments.
- Monitor database performance to prevent issues and ensure high availability.
- Provide ongoing support for daily database operations in a 24/7 environment.
- Develop automation scripts for scheduling, monitoring, and maintaining database tasks.
- Proactively optimize database performance, including table structures and indexing.
- Prepare weekly reports analyzing database usage trends (e.g., tablespace, disk space, row count).
- Perform monitoring using Oracle Enterprise Manager (OEM) 12c Cloud.
- Handle database backups and restoration processes.

**Job Requirements**:

- Familiar with Unix operating system administration.
- Proficient in Unix shell scripting.
- Experienced with PL/SQL.
- Knowledge or hands-on experience with Oracle database tools.
- Experience working with Oracle Data Guard (with or without Data Guard Broker).
- OCA/OCP certification is an advantage (Oracle Certified Associate/Professional).

**Other Requirements**:

- Malaysian citizens only
- Must be fluent in Mandarin (spoken, written, and reading) to communicate with managers and clients from China and Taiwan
- Willing to relocate and work at KL Eco City

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
